Pamper nights: what I do to relax after a long day

As I’ve had tons of long days the past couple of weeks, and it was requested, I decided to elaborate more on how I tend to relax after a few long days. This is going to be a relatively short post, as I’m usually too exhausted to do a lot of things in the evening after really long days, and especially not a lot of beauty-related stuff, but do keep reading to find out what my perfect pamper night looks like. eSalon, who creates custom hair colors and treatments, inspired me to write this post.

The first thing I like to do when I get home is to change in some comfortable clothes, usually either jogging trousers or my pyjamas. Then I will order some food if I haven’t eaten yet, and then my actual pamper night begins.

If I were at home I would take a bath, watch some Netflix and do a face mask, but since I’m currently abroad for the next several months, and I do not have this at my disposal, I just have to do it with a face mask.

I tend to go for a purifying face mask in the evenings, and sometimes I’ll follow that one up with a hydrating one. For example, I have here the Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal mask and the Watermelon Glow Sleeping mask.

Once this is done, I like to take a footbath, or at least wash them and then put some Soap & Glory Heel genius on them as this is a really soothing cream for tired feet. I love this stuff, especially when my feet are tired or dry.

I will also make some tea, or hot chocolate as this will help me relax even more during the night. And I end the night by reading a book, or watching Netflix.

    your photography is gorgeous. I’m pretty similar with my pamper seshs – and i can seriously relate to getting home and just being super tired and not motivated to spend a lot of time pampering yourself xxxx
