I recently have been playing around a lot with makeup and one thing I really noticed is that eyebrows can really finish your look. I usually have no visible eyebrows, so if there is one thing I always do it is my eyebrows. So I thought I’d make a blogpost on how I do my eyebrows and share it with you guys. I am in no way a professional makeup artist and I do still struggle from time to time, but I do hope you guys enjoy this blogpost!
Before I talk about my last look in these series, I want to quickly thank my friend Amber for giving me the opportunity to do these series by giving my tons of her makeup. Thank you so much!
As I did the last two looks in 1 day, I decided to go for a quick look, with some eyeliner and mixed some lipsticks I hadn’t used yet in my previous posts. Btw, my face
I promised the last two posts yesterday but I really did not think it through as my day was already planned completely full. So two posts for today it is.
The first look is one I posted on my instagram already. It is an easy and quick one, and consists of golden and shimmery eyeshadow and a more neutral lipcolour.
I know that I am a day behind on schedule due to not posting yesterday. I was super busy preparing for prom and trying to get some schoolwork done too. I wanted to make it up to you by posting 2 looks today, but honestly I am just so tired and my back is aching pretty bad so I’ll do two looks tomorrow. Keep an eye open for them 😉
Today I focused on subtle eyeshadow, but enough so that you could still tell I am wearing makeup.
I am drowning in schoolwork today so today is all about natural looks.
The basis products (concealer, foundation and brows) are the same as always:
Foundation : Maybelline Superstay Better Skin in the color 20 – Ivory.
Concealer : Maybelline Superstay Better Skin, also in the color 20 – Ivory.
Brows : I used Milani’s Stay Put Brow Color – which I have already reviewed on my blog here. I highlighted these just a little this time, with the freedom highlighter in the colour diffused.
Today I was playing around a bit with what makeup to wear to prom on Friday and someone told me to either go with a subtle smokey eye or winged eyeliner with either a pink lipstick or a dark lipstick. I opted for the last option, with the dark lipstick.
This look was done quickly as it was getting dark outside already, so I did not use primer or setting spray. I just did what needed to be done to get it on picture before it went dark. I still had to use my lamp to take the pictures though, so my highlight is kind of poppin’ since the lamp was almost directly in my face.
Already halfway there! It has been fun experimenting with makeup so far, learnt quite some tips and tricks and today I decided to really focus on highlighter as none of the other things were working with me today.. Thus, be prepared to be blinded!
