Hi everyone! As you may have noticed if you follow me on instagram, I had quite some troubles with extremely dry skin the last two weeks. I wasn’t exactly sure what caused it, but I was sure that the day- and nightcreams and serums that I had were not enough to fix it. So, I went to the nearest pharmacy and asked for something that would help fix it. Since I am still in Greece, they recommended me a Greek brand, Apivita, and their Aqua Vita advanced moisture revitalizing cream. I have tried it out for a while now, so if you want to know what I think about the product, keep on reading!
Hey guys, long time no see! I just finished a whole semester of studying abroad, and you know, time flies when you’re having fun so I did not really have time to put into my blog. I just wanted to make sure I enjoyed my stay abroad and since I had the opportunity to check out some nice places while I was here, that’s what I did. But, I’m going home soon so you can expect more blogposts again from now on!
Anyways, I saw so many people get these new NYX powder puff lippies, and it looked so intriguing to me. I always love a good lippie, so of course I had to go and buy a few to test them out myself. I haven’t had the chance yet to give them a good test run so I opted for a first impressions of these new lipsticks, enjoy!
As I’ve had tons of long days the past couple of weeks, and it was requested, I decided to elaborate more on how I tend to relax after a few long days. This is going to be a relatively short post, as I’m usually too exhausted to do a lot of things in the evening after really long days, and especially not a lot of beauty-related stuff, but do keep reading to find out what my perfect pamper night looks like. eSalon, who creates custom hair colors and treatments, inspired me to write this post.
The other day I was browsing Kruidvat as I had nothing better to do, and there was this new stand there which showed Ardell brow pomades. We all know Ardell from lashes, but I didn’t know they had brow pomades. Anyways, as my well-loved Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz is nearing its end, I decided to pick up the product in the color ‘blonde’ and see how it worked for me, as I have very light (almost not-visible) eyebrows.
Lately, lipscrubs seem to be all the rage. I didn’t even know something like that existed until a year ago or so when multiple bigger brands came on the market with lipscrubs with different tastes. At first I wasn’t convinced to try it, but then as I was doing some shopping in the Body Shop, there was a sale where it was 1+ 1-50% off I believe, so I decided to pick up two of these.
If you are familiar with some of the bigger influencers in the youtube and instagram beauty community, you have no doubt heard of Katy or Desi Perkins. I have been following both of them for a while now, as I love the content they create (and their friendship as well). They recently teamed up with Dose of Colors to launch a makeup collection including lipsticks, highlighters and eyeshadows. Even though I was on a spending ban, I did not hesitate to get a couple of lipsticks myself since I liked the collection and you know, I follow them religiously. Anyways, let’s take a closer look at what I purchased.
Hey guys! I thought I’d share a quick life-update with you guys as to why it has been so silent on my blog for the past two months. I still have a lot of products ready to review, so I’m trying to get these reviews up in the coming weeks.
As for why I have been so inactive, let me just start off by saying I had a very busy couple of months. First off, I had my student job 4 to 5 days a week right after my exams in June, so the free days were usually spent on sleeping in, resting, or packing for my trip to California. Then I went to Cali for a couple of weeks, but my computer wasn’t working, thus I wasn’t able to write any blogpost or even share many pictures on social media.
I got back and immediately had an exam a couple of days after. I also had a Disneyland Paris trip planned, and now I’m actually getting everything in order for my move to Greece. I’m going to study there for a couple of months. It is scary, a lot of work, but also exciting at the same time. Nonetheless, I’m hoping to write a few blogposts about my life there, maybe some good food places, some recommendations for places to visit, so keep an eye open either here or on instagram.
So, in short, I had a couple of busy weeks but I’m hoping to get back on track with blogposts as soon as possible. Requests are still available through the contact form or directly via firstname.lastname@example.org . In the meantime, I am still regularly updating my instagram profile, so be sure to follow me there: http://www.instagram.com/saskiaslifestyle
Hope you have a wonderful day, and I’ll talk to you guys soon. X
